Top Employer

30,000 students about to take their exams took part in the "Absolventenbarometer 2012" study carried out by trendence every year. The study focuses on students’ expectations about starting a career, careers in general, and the most attractive employers. This means that the study is the most significant employer ranking in Germany. The Schaeffler Group is one of the 50 most popular employers among engineering students.

Also the Student Survey from Universum reveals how students perceive organizations as employers in Germany. The respective ranking from 2012 is based on the answers of about 24,000 students from 107 German universities. Schaeffler climbed to 66th place.

These surveys look at the attractiveness of the company as an employer and asks the future academics about their plans for their career and life in general. We are particularly pleased to learn that students and graduates associate core elements of our Corporate Culture such as team spirit, work-life balance or career development opportunities with the Schaeffler Group.

Fair Company

The Schaeffler Group is a fair company.

  • Fair companies do not substitute full time positions with interns, supposed volunteer students, guest students, and so on.
  • Fair companies do not fob off university graduates with an internship if they have applied for a permanent position.
  • Fair companies do not entice interns using a vague chance of being offered a full time position after the internship.
  • Fair companies offer internships primarily for career orientation purposes during vocational training.
  • Fair companies pay adequate salaries to interns.

Completing an internship at the Schaeffler Group after a bachelor degree and before commencing a master degree program is not a problem.
